Planning Beyond the Lesson

Introduction

This paper is aimed at designing or planning follow-up lessons after teaching and evaluating a chosen taught lesson. This paper consists of two sections. Section one deals with an evaluation of the taught lesson which is continued by three subsequent lessons with the descriptions and rationales. Section two deals with a piece of selected material from one of the lesson outlines. This section will explain the organization of the material, anticipated problems and solutions, and concluding comments. In addition, the lessons are taught to SMP 1 class level (beginner) aged between 11 and 12.

In planning a lesson, reflection is one of the inseparable important parts of a teaching process. Through a reflection I can see my strengths and weaknesses in the past and it will be a stepping stone from which I will start my lesson plan. This lesson plan will help me to think through what I am going to teach and how I am going to teach it.
